Nestled just outside Wernigerode, Hotel Blocksberg was an unexpected gem during our recent romantic escape. The family-run feel added a personal touch, making us feel right at home amid the stunning Harz Mountains' beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed indulging in the traditional dishes at the restaurant, with local game and fish specialties that truly capture the essence of the region. The complimentary breakfast and well-appointed rooms with balconies provided a perfect start and end to our days exploring the nearby Harz-Saxony-Anhalt Nature Park. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with welcoming staff and excellent value, Blocksberg is a place you shouldn't miss!
